Convert hand-coded, theme-free current Beta Sigma Phi website to WordPress.
Install WordPress content management software in subdirectory of BSP website HostMonster hosting account. (Working within a subdirectory will allow development of new site without interfering with display of current website.) ABOUT WORDPRESS: Flexible, user-intuitive, and secure, WordPress is the open source publishing platform of choice for millions of websites worldwide. In fact, it is the content management software of choice for over 43% of all sites across the web. Zoinks! Graphics has been installing and customizing sites using WordPress for nearly 20 years.
Work with BSP management to choose a mobile-friendly starter template. This will allow the site to be effective across all platforms, computers, tablets and phones. Customize the starter template to meet BSP specifications, content, colors, etc. Further install WordPress plugins to achieve functions such as membership login and content, contact forms, email newsletter sign up, online shop for donations and purchases (see recommendations below). Transfer content of existing BSP website to WordPress version. Re-generate images where needed. Obtain stock images at additional cost.

Numerous secure options exist for online transactions. PayPal or Venmo or Square are but a few. Either can be set up using WordPress plugins, which would allow donations and virtual and physical merchandise purchases to take place without having to call in.
Data security concerns are real. However, the best way to deal with them is to investigate database backups, not shut the servers down during inclement weather. Similarly, the web never sleeps, and especially being international, shutting the servers in the middle of the night CST is bound to inconvenience a portion of your membership. Again, investigating and implementing the highest server security would be a preferable solution.
